Polri Menuju Smart Police

Abstract

Abstract One dimension in shaping smart city is smart Governance, which is the process of collecting various kinds of data and information related to public management. New technologies are used to reinforce the rationality of government by using more complete - and more available and accessible - information on government decision-making and the implementation of such decisions. In order to realize smart governance to support the birth of smart nation, polri which is part of the government bureaucracy in the implementation of its duties must abandon conventional ways towards creative ways with a change in the quality of service with the concept of Smart Police. In an effort to realize smart police needs readiness of several aspects such as structure, infrastructure and superstructure. Keywords : Polri, Smart Police, Smart Governance, Technology Abstrak Salah satu dimensi dalam membentuk smart city adalah smart Governance, yaitu proses pengumpulan berbagai macam data dan informasi terkait dengan manajemen publik. Teknologi baru digunakan untuk memperkuat rasionalitas pemerintahan dengan menggunakan lebih lengkap - dan lebih tersedia serta dapat diakses - informasi bentuk pembuatan keputusan pemerintah dan implementasi keputusan tersebut. Dalam rangka mewujudkan smart governance untuk mendukung lahirnya smart nation, Polri yang merupakan bagian dari birokrasi pemerintahan dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya harus meninggalkan cara-cara konvensional menuju cara-cara kreatif dengan suatu perubahan dalam kualitas pelayanan dengan konsep Smart Police. Dalam upaya untuk mewujudkan smart police dibutuhkan kesiapan beberapa aspek antara lain structure, infrastructure dan superstructure. Kata Kunci : Polri, Smart Police, Smart Governance, Teknologi
